Consulting Area: Development Management – Training and Development Planning
At PDCC, we understand that well trained trainers create a multiplier effect by transferring skills and knowledge to many more people. That is why we provide Training of Trainers (ToT) programmes that equip facilitators, community leaders and technical staff with the skills to deliver high-quality training.
Our ToT services focus on:
Adult learning techniques – ensuring trainers can communicate effectively with different groups, including farmers, youth, women and community leaders.
Participatory training methods – using role plays, case studies, group discussions and practical demonstrations to enhance learning.
Curriculum design and facilitation skills – helping trainers prepare structured sessions that are engaging and impactful.
Monitoring and evaluating training outcomes – enabling trainers to assess effectiveness and improve their delivery over time.
We work with NGOs, government institutions, private sector organisations and community-based groups to build a pool of competent trainers who can deliver skills in areas such as agriculture, livelihoods, entrepreneurship, governance, environment, gender equality, climate change and health.
By empowering trainers, PDCC strengthens institutional capacity and ensures sustainability of programmes at community and organisational level.
